The Boston Massacre by Genique

The Boston Massacre happened on March 5th, 1770. This event happened between the British soldiers and the colonists. The problem occurred because the British were passing many acts for example the Townshend Act. The Townshend Act taxed colonists on imports such as tea and glass. Also the British soldiers said “they felt threatened so they fired.” The effects after the Boston Massacre caused the death of five colonists, outrage of colonists, more anti-propaganda, and a problem leading to the American Revolution. More “red coats” were sent to keep the colonists in order. At the end of it all, the colonists weren’t happy with the British laws and the British were happy because they thought the colonists would follow their laws.
